Announcement No.66 of 2020 of the General Administration of Customs

Announcement on  Quarantine  Requirements  for   Imported  Alfalfa   Hay  Blocks  and  Grains, Amygdalus Mandshurica Shell Grains and Ladder Hay Plants.   From May 13, 2020 , it is allowed to  import alfalfa  hay blocks and grains, almond shell grains and terraced  hay that meet relevant requirements.   The  main use of the  product  is feed.   U.S. quarantine certificate  is  required for import.   Products   come   from   registered   enterprises.   Importers   have   already   applied   for quarantine license.   Types of  products  allowed to  be transported  to  China:  1) Medicago  sativa hay pieces or granules (scientific name Medicago sativa  L.) transported  to China refer to alfalfa hay pieces or granules treated with high temperature and high pressure.  2) Prunus dulcis, other name: Amygdal us communis shell particles transported to China refer to the blocks and particles made  by  grinding or  (and)  compressing the  pod and  shell  separated  from  almond  and  drying under high temperature and  high pressure.  (3) Phleum  pratense L. transported to China refers to the bundle of ladder hay produced by secondary compression.
