The United States Resumed to Impose a 25°/o Tariff on Part Goods from China

34 billion tariffs exclude products

On July 6, local time, the Office of the US Trade Representative announced that for the products on the 34 billion tariff exclusion list, the validity period of this batch was originally scheduled to expire on July 9, 2020. The notice decided to extend the validity of the exclusion from July 9, 2020 to December 31, 2020.

Commodities involving extended exclusion period

There are 110 items in the list of excluded products in the 6th batch with the original tariff of 34 billion yuan, and 12 items have been extended in this period.

Commodities without extended exclusion period

98 commodities’ exclusion period has not been extended this time. From July 9, 2020, some tariffs will not be exempted. It is suggested that enterprises exporting to US should re-estimate the trade cost.
