Announcement on Relevant Issues Concerning Inspection and Supervision of Import and Export Dangerous Chemicals and Their Packaging

Scope of Hazardous Chemicals
It is listed in the National Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals (the latest edition), and the 2015 edition of the Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals in China is currently adopted.

Increase Exemption Clause for Import and Export Risk Reduction
This regulation applies to bulk products, limited or exceptional quantities of dangerous goods (which are also dangerous chemicals) (except air transport)
There is no need to provide GHS labels in Chinese when the Hazardous Chemicals transported in bulk are declared – Excepted from United Nations TDG

Difference from the Original Inspection No.30 Announcement
In addition to the above difference, “whether it meets the requirements of safety, hygiene, health, environmental protection and fraud prevention, and related items such as quality, quantity and weight” are deleted from the inspection contents. It is further clarified that the inspection of hazardous chemicals is a safety-related inspection item.
