To strengthen supply chain connectivity, Taicang Port has launched a new Southeast Asia container service, with its inaugural voyage starting in April 2022. The route provides direct calls to Haiphong and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, creating a more efficient maritime corridor to RCEP member countries.

This new waterway significantly enhances logistics links between the Yangtze River Delta, the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and Southeast Asia, offering faster, more reliable, and direct ocean freight solutions for regional businesses.
