Good news for automotive parts importers!

China Customs has introduced a new facilitation measure for certain imported automotive components subject to China Compulsory Certification (CCC).

For 8 designated HS codes, Customs will recognize valid CCC certificates issued by accredited certification bodies during the inspection process. In principle, additional sampling and laboratory testing by Customs will no longer be required, helping businesses improve customs clearance efficiency and reduce compliance costs.
