Under the stimulus of US-led trade restrictions, China’s demand for mature technology semiconductor equipment has surged significantly, and Japan has become one of the biggest beneficiaries.

In the first quarter of this year, Japan’s exports to China soared 82% year-on-year. At the same time, Japan has exported more than 50% of its semiconductor manufacturing equipment to China for the third consecutive quarter.
