At the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020, domestic frozen beef prices plummeted, causing buyers to cancel orders, leading to a large number of containers piling up in the port area and generating substantial demurrage fees. Once the client gathered the remaining payment for the goods, they requested that our company clear all the piled-up containers in the port area within two weeks. Our project team worked in close collaboration with the bank, putting in high-intensity overtime. Within the two-week period, we successfully completed the full import process for over 200 containers of frozen beef, including order redemption, bill exchange, certification, customs clearance, tax payment, and delivery.
