According to the General Administration of Customs news on August 7, in the first seven months of this year, China’s total goods trade import and export value reached 24.83 trillion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 6.2%. Of this, exports amounted to 14.26 trillion RMB, up by 6.7%, and imports totaled 10.57 trillion RMB, up by 5.4%.
In USD terms, for the first seven months, China’s total import and export value was 3.5 trillion USD, an increase of 3.5%. Exports were 2.01 trillion USD, up by 4%, and imports were 1.49 trillion USD, up by 2.8%. In July alone, the total import and export value was 3.68 trillion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%. Exports were 2.14 trillion RMB, up by 6.5%, and imports were 1.54 trillion RMB, up by 6.6%.
