Cosmetics Studio Service Case

Event:
The client’s goods were usually imported into China through taxed entry at the port. However, due to issues on the domestic consignee’s side, it was uncertain whether the receiving terms of the contract could be fulfilled for this particular batch of cosmetics after arrival. As most of the client’s shipments were handled via taxed entry, they had limited resources and understanding regarding bonded operations, including bonded warehouses and customs clearance. They were referred to our company by a third party for consultation. Upon learning that the client could not confirm the domestic receiving situation, we advised them to move the goods into a bonded warehouse under a duty-free (bonded) status. This solution helped ease the difficulties associated with taxed entry, especially when the final logistics route was unclear. We also provided a detailed explanation of the bonded customs procedures and the operations required to move goods into a bonded warehouse.

Service:
The goods were declared into our bonded warehouse under a duty-free status. In addition to providing customs declaration services, once the client confirmed the final logistics route, we performed unpacking, sorting, and palletizing of the goods in the bonded warehouse and arranged shipments according to different destinations.

Service Value:
This solution helped the client resolve a critical issue. It also gave them a comprehensive understanding of the advantages of using bonded zones for cosmetic products. As a result, we have continued to work together on subsequent shipments.
