All Cambodian aquatic products have been exported to China

The Chinese embassy in Cambodia released information on 7th that the General Administration of Customs of China has recently updated the “list of countries or regions and species of aquatic animals that have been admitted”. Cambodian Tienit International Trading company has passed the audit and completed the registration.

This is the first enterprise to complete the registration and filing of edible aquatic animals exported to China after China and Cambodia signed the “Protocol on Quarantine and Sanitation Requirements for Edible Aquatic Animals Exported to China from Cambodia”.

So far, Cambodian edible aquatic animals have completed the final procedure of exporting to China. This is also based on the existing traditional trade of edible aquatic animals such as mantis shrimp, rice field eel, snakehead, and snails between China and Cambodia to achieve full coverage of the market access for edible aquatic animals exported to China.

On May 30, 2022, the Cambodian farmed aquatic product enterprises exporting to China completed the registration and filing with China Customs. On May 24, 2023, Cambodian wild aquatic products have completed the biological registration and filing with China Customs. On August 1, Cambodian edible aquatic animals completed the final procedure of market access.
