Three documents decide 2 days or 2 weeks for auto parts in China:
- CCC certification. Most components need it, and the certificate must match the HS code and part number. A generic mark isn’t enough.
- Energy-efficiency filing. Motors, lighting, and certain electrical assemblies need pre-arrival registration. A mismatch blocks release.
- Certificate of origin. Germany and China have no FTA, so origin won’t cut duty — but it stops transshipment disputes and supports RCEP claims where applicable.
A small mismatch becomes detention and storage fees. These checks happen before the container arrives.
At Xinhai, we align these documents before shipment for German auto-parts clients.
